Works with Apple Calendar on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and with Outlook. You can choose how often it refreshes and turn on alerts in the calendar settings.

Google Calendar

On a computer, open calendar.google.com, click the plus next to “Other calendars”, choose “From URL” and paste one of the addresses below. Google refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, often within a day, and uses your own notification settings for them.

Android: the Google Calendar phone app cannot add a calendar from a link. Add it once on calendar.google.com from any computer and it shows up on your phone.

Outlook

Choose “Add calendar”, then “Subscribe from web”, and paste an address. Outlook may take several hours to show updates.

How the entries work

Each deadline is an all-day entry on its last day. When something closes in the morning (some TV-network giveaways end at 8:59 AM Eastern), the entry goes on the day before so you have time.
